A member of a right-wing group carrying a ‘kanwar’ on her shoulders tried to enter the Taj Mahal to supply ‘Gangajal’ on Monday, with the group claiming that the monument was a Lord Shiva temple referred to as ‘Tejo Mahalaya’. Nonetheless, she was stopped by the policemen of ‘Taj Suraksha’ deployed on the barrier of the west gate of the Taj Mahal.
She was stopped on the barrier of the west gate and was not capable of enter the Taj Mahal, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Taj Suraksha, Syed Areeb Ahmad advised PTI.
“After a while, she selected her personal to supply the ‘Gangajal’ on the Rajeshwar temple,” Ahmad added.
Meenu Rathore, who claimed herself to be the district president of the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha in Agra, insisted police officers permit her to supply the ‘Gangajal’ in “Tejo Mahalaya”.
She additional claimed that Lord Shiva got here in her desires and requested her to supply the ‘Gangajal’ on the monument.
“I got here to Tejo Mahalaya to supply the ‘Gangajal’. Lord Shiv referred to as me in my desires and I introduced kanwar to supply at Tejo Mahalaya. However, they (policemen) have stopped me from going forward,” Rathore mentioned.
Sanjay Jaat, a spokesperson of the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, mentioned, “It’s our proper to supply the ‘Ganga Jal’ in Taj Mahal as Taj Mahal is ‘Tejo Mahalaya’, a temple of Lord Shiva. She introduced kanwar from Soron ji in Kasganj and reached Agra after two days.”
