Inaugurating a centre of excellence on 6G at IIT-M Analysis Park, Chennai, Mr Mittal mentioned this initiative is aligned with the ‘Bharat 6G Imaginative and prescient’ doc launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in March final yr.

PM Modi has envisaged India to be a front-line contributor within the design, improvement and deployment of 6G know-how by 2030.

Mr Mittal emphasised that the initiative goals to create a cohesive and coordinated effort in advancing 6G know-how, guaranteeing that each one initiatives profit from collective experience and assets.
